London Gatwick Airport is, after Heathrow, the busiest airport of the United Kingdom. Every year, 45.1 million travellers use this airport. The renovation of the existing cast floor system, spanning 11,000 m2, was not allowed to cause disturbance.

The parking garage remained open for business

During the work, surrounding parking areas had to remain open to the travellers. Also, guests of the adjacent Gatwick Hilton were not to experience any kind of disturbance due to the renovation.
